Jared Johnson serves as one of three Arizona GOHS Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutors (TSRP) through a grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. With a focus on Prop 207 and marijuana related traffic offenses, Mr. Johnson works with law enforcement, prosecutors, traffic safety professionals, judges, and the community to more effectively address impaired driving and other traffic safety issues. After graduating from the University of Arizona Law School, Mr. Johnson began his career clerking for Judge Christopher Browning in Pima County before serving as an Assistant City Prosecutor for the Town of Marana. He then worked for 5 years at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office serving in both the Repetitive Offender Prosecution Bureau and the Gang Bureau primarily focused on serious violent felonies. Since 2017 he has been an Assistant City Prosecutor with the City of Scottsdale Prosecutor’s Office specializing in the prosecution of DUI cases.
Seth Peterson is an Arizona native who grew up in Mesa, Arizona. He attended the University of Arizona as an undergraduate as well as law school, graduating law school with the Class of 2001. Mr. Peterson served as a Deputy District Attorney in the Clark County District Attorney’s Office from 2001 to 2004. Returning home to Arizona, Mr. Peterson served as a Deputy County Attorney in the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office from 2005 to 2006. Since that time, Mr. Peterson has worked as an Assistant City Prosecutor for the Scottsdale City Prosecutor’s Office. His assignment for the last ten plus years has focused on motions and appellate practice. Mr. Peterson also serves as a Traffic Safety Resource Officer for the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. He is a resource for agencies and prosecutors statewide with a particular focus on serving law enforcement and prosecutors in the East Valley
