Scott Hixson is the Chief Deputy Solicitor for the 15th Judicial Circuit in S.C. and is a Special Assistant United States Attorney in District of South Carolina. Mr. Hixson has been a prosecutor in state court for over 20 years, and in federal court for over 5 years. He has prosecuted literally thousands of cases over the years, handling a diverse caseload composed of homicides, violent crimes, narcotics offenses, crimes against children and human trafficking in state and federal court, including multiple death penalty trials. Mr. Hixson earned his degree in communication from The Ohio State University and his juris doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from the Capital University Law School with a concentration in Government Affairs. He studied International Criminal Law at the Institute for World Legal Problems at the University of Innsbruck, Austria under then Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court William Rehnquist.
