Samantha Caplinger is an Assistant Attorney General with the Fraud and Special Prosecutions Section, where she handles cases involving sex trafficking, human trafficking, child exploitation, and internet crimes against children. Prior to this, Samantha worked as a Deputy County Attorney with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. There, she was assigned to the Sex Crimes Bureau where she handled cases involving sexually motivated crime, including the human trafficking of minors. Prior to working in the Sex Crimes Bureau, Samantha was assigned to the Community Based Prosecution Division where she handled a variety of cases involving crimes occurring in the southwest area of Maricopa County. She graduated from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in 2012.
