Michael Minicozzi is from Phoenix, Arizona.  He attended law school at the University of San Diego School of Law in California.  Mr. Minicozzi graduated from law school in 2006 and immediately began working for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office where he spent the majority of his time in the Juvenile Division.  In 2008, Mr. Minicozzi left the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office to obtain an LLM in biotechnology law from Arizona State University.  Mr. Minicozzi returned to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in 2012 but not before working for the Maricopa County Superior Court as a criminal staff attorney for several years.  In 2013, Mr. Minicozzi joined the sex crimes bureau where he has remained assigned for the last eight years.  In 2019, he became the bureau chief of the westside Sex Crimes Bureau.
