With the creation of the House Criminal Justice Reform Committee and 171 days of session, the 55th Legislature passed a record number of bills. Rebecca Baker will provide an overview of the session, focusing on criminal justice related legislation. The general effective date for legislation will be September 29, 2021.

Rebecca Baker joined the Maricopa County Attorney's Office in 2000, serving as felony prosecutor before becoming the Legislative Liaison. Ms. Baker is an Arizona native and graduated from ASU before attending law school at the U of A.
