Description

This one-day highly interactive seminar is a must for both trial and appellate prosecutors as it will focus on framing issues, writing briefs, appellate options, and oral advocacy.
 
This CLE offers:
  • A practical, hands-on, legal writing workshop that includes written exercises and a collaborative discussion
  • Legal writing advice that applies equally to motion practice and appellate brief-writing
  • A “judicial perspectives” panel of judges from various courts in Arizona
  • An interactive and lively presentation about effective oral advocacy

Jacob has been the supervisor of the Appeals Unit at the Pima County Attorney since 2007. He worked in the Pima County Attorney's Office Civil Division for two years before that and clerked at the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One. He spends most of his time with his wife and 8 children.
