Actual physical control impaired driving cases can be challenging in many ways. This training focuses on how to establish the elements, and how to respond to the common “shelter defense”. Learn the caselaw history of actual physical control cases and how to assess your case’s strengths and weaknesses.

Stacey Good is an Assistant City Prosecutor for the Mesa City Prosecutor's Office. She has been with the office for four years. Before that, she prosecuted felonies with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office for a year. She specializes in domestic violence cases as one of two prosecutors’ in charge of Mesa's Domestic Violence Unit.

Ms. Schenks prosecuted vehicular crimes before taking the Attorney Training Manager position and began training new attorneys on DUI prosecution.  She has spent the last 8 years working with new attorneys in Justice Courts.
